GRANITE BAY, CA – Child Killed, Others Injured in Crash on Barton Road and Douglas Boulevard
GRANITE BAY, CA (July 16, 2023) – A child was killed and at least two others were injured in a two-vehicle collision on Barton Road and Douglas Boulevard Sunday evening.
According to California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 5:45 p.m. and involved a red Jeep and black Escalade. It’s unclear what lead up to or which vehicle caused the collision, but a minor in the back seat of the Jeep sustained fatal injuries.
The driver and the front passenger in the Jeep also reported minor injuries.The driver of the Escalade was not hurt.
No other details have been released at this time.
