GALT, CA – 1 Dead, 7 Injured in Crash on Twin Cities Road and Cherokee Lane
GALT, CA (February 1st, 2022) – Eight people were hospitalized following a crash on Twin Cities Road and Cherokee Lane in Galt, a city in Sacramento County on Tuesday.
The crash happened shortly after 3 p.m. and involved two cars. Eight people total were transported to the hospital with injuries.
Two of those eight were injured critically, as they were not wearing seat belts at the time of the collision and were ejected from their vehicles.
One of those two passed away from their injuries a short time later. The other six victims are expected to recover.
It is still unknown what factors may have led to the deadly collision.
