CHINO HILLS, CA – Valerie Mejia Killed in Collision on CA-71 near Grand Avenue
CHINO HILLS, CA (January 17th, 2022) – Valerie Mejia, 27, was killed in a collision early Monday morning on California State Highway 71, near Grand Avenue.
The crash happened just after 12 a.m. It is unclear how many vehicles were involved or how the fatal collision happened, but Mejia was pronounced dead at the scene less than 30 minutes later.
The highway was closed for some time while the crash scene was cleared.
No other details have been released at this time.
